Types of glass for mixed drinks
An elegant glass with a wide, shallow bowl on a tall, slender stem is the right choice for a Kir Royale served as an aperitif. For a Margarita, reach for a glass with a broad, round bowl on a tall stem. It sets off the look, the taste and the aroma. A tall stem also keeps a Margarita cool for longer. Rimming the glass with salt or sugar as you mix adds to the taste, and it looks striking on the table.
Aperol, meanwhile, is often served in a classic wine glass or a lowball tumbler. If you are pouring Martini for guests, choose a classic glass with a bowl that opens out gently on a slender, stable stem. Gin glasses, made from high-grade glass, have a long, elegant stem and a wide, deep balloon bowl. That shape holds the drink at the right temperature.
Cocktail glasses
Colourful drinks, alcoholic and alcohol-free, and fruit smoothies are the mainstay of a summer party. To make every cocktail look its best, serve it in a cocktail glass. Products with a standard lead time are generally dispatched the same or the next working day. Selected products take longer to prepare for dispatch; that lead time is shown on the product page. Delivery within Poland usually takes 1–2 working days from dispatch.
HOW IS THE GLASS SECURED DURING TRANSPORT?
As a maker with many years of experience in producing and shipping glass, safe delivery is a priority for us. Every parcel goes through several stages of protection — from product quality control, through careful picking and packing, to secure transport with trusted couriers. Products are arranged and secured inside the packaging so that they cannot move in transit. Every parcel is insured as well. If damage still occurs despite our packing standards, you have 7 days to report a claim. We send replacements as quickly as we can, at our cost.
HOW TO CARE FOR GLASS SO THAT IT RETAINS ITS SHINE FOR AS LONG AS POSSIBLE?
To keep glass clear, bright and looking its best, it is worth reading the care guidelines linked below. Before first use, wash the piece in lukewarm water with a mild detergent, then dry it with a soft cloth. In everyday use, avoid sudden changes of temperature. Do not heat glass above 60°C or chill it quickly. Avoid differences greater than 35°C. Never use these products in a microwave, an oven or a freezer. If a piece is dishwasher safe, choose a glassware programme and use mild detergents and rinse aids. Load the items so that they do not touch. When the cycle ends, take the glass out and let it dry naturally. Larger pieces such as carafes, vases and cake stands are best washed by hand.
ARE ALL PRODUCTS DISHWASHER SAFE?
Not every product is dishwasher safe. You will always find this information on the product page or on the packaging. The symbol there shows whether a piece is suitable for automatic dishwashers. In most cases, undecorated glassware can go in the dishwasher.
DO YOU OFFER RETURNS OR EXCHANGES?
You may return an order within 14 days of receiving it, without giving a reason. To withdraw from the contract, send us an email at e-sklep@khwycmsheuel.shop or a letter to the Seller's address — no special form is required. Once you have notified us, return the product within 14 days, packed securely for transport. The cost of return postage is borne by the customer, unless the applicable regulations state otherwise.
